As part of our commitment to safety and the proper functioning of operations within our facilities, the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Industrial Park held an informational meeting with representatives and operational managers of the main fuel transportation companies operating in the park. The objective of this session was to reinforce industrial safety measures to safeguard the integrity of people, facilities, and logistics operations.
During the meeting, key topics were addressed, such as access protocols, entry and exit controls, safe internal routes, loading and unloading guidelines, proper use of common areas, hazardous waste management, and updated emergency plans. The park’s industrial safety team presented the implemented actions and the new guidelines designed specifically for companies that handle highly flammable materials such as hydrocarbons.
One of the most relevant points was the strengthening of coordination mechanisms between transport companies and the park’s operational team. Direct communication channels were established for incident reporting, preventive inspections, and joint review of procedures. This allows for a rapid and effective response to any situation that could pose a risk to the safety of operations or personnel.
Likewise, all attendees were reminded of the importance of complying with the regulations established by environmental and civil protection authorities. As an industrial park, we have the corresponding permits, including those from SEDEMA (National Secretariat of Environmental Protection), and we maintain close collaboration with emergency services, Municipal Civil Protection, and the National Guard, who support us in monitoring and responding to incidents.
Attendees recognized the efforts of the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Industrial Park to ensure a controlled and safe environment, which is essential for the continuity of fuel transportation operations, one of the main activities carried out at our facilities. Trust and security are pillars that ensure uninterrupted logistics flow, which directly impacts the operational efficiency and reputation of each company operating within the park.
The meeting also provided a feedback space, allowing clients to express concerns, suggestions, and proposals, which were heard and recorded by the management team. This interaction was key to identifying opportunities for improvement in daily operations and the implementation of preventive measures. We committed to following up on each of the proposals and implementing solutions together.
As a result of this meeting, it was agreed to hold regular meetings with the various business sectors operating in the park to maintain fluid communication and a collaborative environment. We believe that safety is a shared responsibility, and that the active participation of park users is key to preventing risks and ensuring operational continuity.
The Gulf of Mexico Coastal Industrial Park reaffirms its commitment to operational excellence, industrial safety, and continuous improvement. We are more than a space for logistics and industrial development: we are a strategic partner for companies that require a safe, regulated, and efficient environment for handling fuels and other critical materials.
We thank all the transportation companies for their active participation, their trust, and their willingness to work as a team to create an increasingly safe, orderly, and competitive industrial park.
